Upstairs At The Western is Leicester's pub theatre on the first floor of The Western pub, off Braunstone Gate in the city's west end. The venue is a fully equipped theatre, with raked seating giving close up and intimate views of the stage. The pub is an Everards tenancy and serves an excellent range of real ales, lagers, wines and spirits, with food available from the in-house Cafe West. The stage is 4m x 4m, with black drapes to the sides and rear. There is a good sized dressing room for artists and fully equipped operating area for technicians. The auditorium is acoustically neutral.
